Rebecca Jones, ThD

Leadership Development Strategist | Facilitator | Educator | Author

Rebecca Jones, ThD, is a passionate leadership development strategist, educator, facilitator, and multi-published author committed to one thing: helping people become the kind of leaders who make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

With more than two decades of experience spanning human resources, higher education, K–12 education, and executive ministry leadership, Rebecca brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to leadership development. She understands leadership from multiple sides of the table, from developing people and navigating organizational dynamics to leading teams, cultivating culture, teaching others, and carrying the weight of executive responsibility.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from LeMoyne-Owen College, a Master of Arts in Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and a Doctor of Theology (ThD) in Church Leadership. She also completed doctoral-level study in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Adult Learning, further strengthening her expertise in how adults learn, grow, and translate knowledge into meaningful practice.

As an educator, Rebecca brings extensive expertise in English education, leadership development, adult learning, social-emotional learning, emotional intelligence, and professional development. Her experience in the classroom has given her a firsthand understanding of the complexities educators and organizational leaders face and the importance of making professional learning practical, relevant, and transformative.

Her professional journey also includes experience in human resources and the collegiate sector, giving her insight into organizational operations, employee development, workplace dynamics, and the development of people across different stages of their professional lives. For more than 20 years, she also served in executive ministry leadership, where she developed and led people, managed organizational responsibilities, navigated complex relationships, and learned firsthand that leadership is as much about influence and emotional intelligence as it is about position and authority.

Rebecca is also a multi-published author, using her writing to explore leadership, identity, personal growth, faith, and the realities of becoming who you were created to be. Her work reflects the same philosophy she brings into every room: people do not simply need information, they need insight, perspective, practical tools, and the courage to apply what they have learned.

As the founder of Pretty Peculiar Company™ and the Pretty Peculiar Institute™, Rebecca has developed leadership development experiences designed to cultivate leaders who can lead themselves, lead others, influence culture, navigate change, and leave a meaningful legacy.

Her facilitation style is engaging, thought-provoking, practical, and deeply human. She doesn't believe professional development should feel like another box to check. She believes learning should challenge perspectives, spark meaningful conversations, equip people with practical tools, and ultimately change how they lead.

At the heart of Rebecca's work is a genuine passion for serving others and cultivating dynamic leaders, leaders who are self-aware enough to grow, courageous enough to lead differently, and intentional enough to understand that their leadership leaves an imprint on every person and organization they touch.

Her philosophy is simple:

Stronger leaders. Healthier culture. Lasting impact.

And she believes every leader has the capacity to become all three.
