Excuse Me?!

"Once you are self aware you have no excuse to not make adjustments" -Rebecca Gregory Self-awareness has become highly popularized by pop culture and the growing training and development trends. If done properly, self awareness can evoke change, supply strength, give habit insight in order to break bad ones and so much more. Self-awareness is supposed to make one aware of their behaviors, self-image, communication styles, personal trends, work habits and view of others. This is not an exhaustive list, but a good place to start. What self-awareness is NOT is the pass to say 'this is how I am, take it or leave it'. Becoming aware of negative or toxic behaviors gives one the responsibility to make change. It is not grounds for excuses to remain in the state that you're in. Your breakthrough and evolution is the catalyst for another. Becoming aware that you possess a gift that is needed in the earth requires that you supply the demand made by those you are called to impact. For one to truly be self-aware, you must be honest, open, and willing to be vulnerable to discovery. Take the bold step and enter a self-awareness journey. It's guaranteed to make you take a double look in the mirror. It will expose wounds that you've used as crutches. It will remove masks that you forgot you wore. "Excuses are tools of the incompetent that lead to monuments of nothingness".

Are you going to take what you have discovered through self-awareness and use it to be a light for others, make your life better and excel? Or will you take the knowledge and tuck it away content with mediocrity and stagnation?
